Volunteer – Social Media Marketing & Content Posting

Project Description:

Lamp Educational and Charitable Trust is a grassroots NGO working to support underprivileged students through education, skill development, mental health awareness, and career counselling programs. We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing volunteer who can help us build our online presence, engage our community, and increase visibility for our ongoing projects and fundraising campaigns.

Purpose:

To enhance the digital visibility and outreach of Lamp Educational and Charitable Trust by creating and managing engaging content across social media platforms. This role aims to increase awareness, attract donors and volunteers, and showcase the impact of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

2. Develop social media strategies and campaigns to support fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and awareness drives.

3. Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Basic knowledge of social media platforms, content creation tools (like Canva), and post scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).

2. Creativity, communication skills, and a passion for social impact storytelling.

Location: Bengaluru (Preferred) or Remote

Time Commitment: 6 Months
